Terroir

AOC Corton Grand Cru - 100% Pinot-Noir Corton is the only red Grand Cru of the Côte de Beaune. The surface area of this grand cru being the largest of the Côte at over 100 hectares (247 acres), this terroir contains a great variety of climats (recognized as place-names), ranging from firm to elegant without at any time losing its general character. Maison Dufouleur Frères is a regular buyer of Corton wines, searching above all for power and concentration in this vast terroir of somewhat inconsistent quality.

Wine Making

Aging occurs from 18 to 22 months in oak barrels, with the proportion of new oak varying from 30% to 100% after the analysis, tasting, and evaluation of the characteristics of each vintage.
