AOC Bourgogne - 100% Pinot-Noir Le Fouleur Pinot Noir is a nice introduction to Burgundy's great wines, as well as their noble grape, Pinot Noir. Because the Pinot Noir grape is fragile and difficult to grow, requiring demanding climate and soil conditions, Burgundy is the ideal region for its cultivation. It is only here that the grape achieves the elegance and refinement for which it is famous. Maison Dufouleur Frères makes this wine principally from grapes and wines of the Côte d'Or and the Côte Chalonnaise, searching for an elegant and refined framework as well as good body and classic red-fruit aromas.

Wine Making

Part of the blend is aged from 6 to 12 months in oak barrels and the aging is then completed in stainless steel vats in order to return the lithe freshness indispensable to an early-drinking wine.
